Began my career in Tour operating in 1966 with Hourmont School Travel and then moved to their tour operating side. When I started CWL was positioned on the south side !!
Have held senior management posts with Clarksons Holidays, Red Dragon Travel, P & O Air Holidays, John Cory Travel, Kestours and Travel Management Group. With htese companies I was responsible for major tours and trade missions for many important companies and sports organisations including WRU, FAW, Welsh Office, Crawshay's Welsh RFC, BBC National Orchestra and Arsenal Football Club. I have also been fortunate to accompany all these tours on a world-wide basis ensuring that all the arrangements ran smoothly.
I have also been involved with destination marketing for Cardiff and Wales and have done so in North America and the Far East and also sat on the overseas marketing group of the Irish Tourist Board.

I have been working in the aviation industry since the summer of 2006 at Cardiff Airport as a Load Controller
In June 2009 I was a volunteer of the Wales Air Network where I was later made Vice Chairman of the organisation until 16th August 2011.
I started working with the other dedicated founding members of the Wales Air Forum on 17th August 2011 to create a dedicated website for the aviation industry in Wales.
I enjoy working with those that have a genuine interest in the industry and that are very passionate on what they would like to see in the future.

I am 21 and currently studying Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Bristol. I have had a keen and genuine interest in Welsh Aviation for several years with postings on various websites and forums under such aliases as Planenut321 and SC747.
Being part of Wales Air Forum gives me the chance to try and change the fate of the welsh aviation industry which currently looks pretty bleak. In the future I am determined to work in the aviation industry in some form or another. This would preferably be as a pilot giving one day fly into Cardiff Airport myself.
